Candle Care

Set Aside 2.5-3 Hours for Your Candle’s First Burn.

Because soy, a major ingredient in our candles, has a “memory,” this means that if a candle is blown out too soon on its initial burn…it often won’t burn to the edge of the vessel. This creates an unattractive tunneling effect. Don’t let this happen to you!

Keep Your Candle at a Four-Hour Burn Max

This is a critical element of candle safety. Also, when there is 1/4” of wax left at the bottom, a candle becomes increasingly unsafe so be sure to avoid burning yours too low.

Trim Your Wick!

At the beginning of every use, trim your wick to 1/4”. This will help to eliminate old wick droppings falling into your wax, but it will also help you to avoid soot.
